Wednesday Night League
League is a fantastic way to assure yourself a regular game every week. Every Wednesday night you will play a timed match so you know exactly when your match will start. We place everyone in teams and each team will play every other team during the season.
Five minute warm-up.
Fourty minutes of continuous play.
Each player will serve five consecutive serves, points will be scored on every rally. In other words a point will be given after each rally regardless of who is serving.
Individuals are responsible for arranging their own subs. Your opponent expects to play someone. If you can't play, get a spare of equal calibre! No-shows will be penalized with zero points. Please refer to the list of spares on this Web site.
Losers from each match must referee the next match.
"No shows" will result in a an automatic win for your scheduled opponent and 25 points will also be awarded to your opponent.”. No shows are players who do not show up and do not arrange for a spare in their absence.
Team standings are determined by the team's collective win / loss record.
